To Whom it May Concern, I am applying for the position of a psychologist that my research revealed to be open in your department. This position fits well with my experience, career interests, and love for the brain. Your daily routine around young adults, and the research that goes into helping your patients, compliments the experience that I would love to have one day. After graduating high school, I am planning to attend a four-year university and receive my Bachelors of Arts, or Science, in Psychology. From that point, I’d like to return to school to complete my PhD in Psychology as well. This particular position requires someone who understands the emotional demand of being a psychologist, is hardworking and disciplined, and can be on call to help whenever needed. Given my personal experiences in life, such as watching a family member suffer from alcoholism and experiencing the devastation of someone taking their own life, there is no ounce of hesitation in my mind about my desire to help others who are struggling. I have always been fascinated with the human brain and am always wondering how events in life can affect us in multiple ways. I am excited to express my interest for this position and hope to continue developing my love for psychology in a challenging environment. Given my education and inclination to further my knowledge of the psychology field, I believe I would be a positive asset to your practice. You can reach me at (956) 862-6383, and I look forward to meeting you and furthering this conversation in person. My resumé is enclosed and I thoroughly appreciate your time in this matter.
Sincerely Yours, Gianna Marie Brocchini
